Adrienne Heriot is a Churchwarden

Adrienne was appointed to this role in April 2008 following Keith Atkinson who had been a churchwarden for 8 years.

Churchwardens carry out many responsibilities within a parish, and are technically officers of the Bishop. Their duties and responsibilities are enshrined in Canon Law but in today's times the role involves a mixture of legal, spiritual, pastoral duties. Churchwardens are foremost in representing the laity and in co-operating with the incumbent.

Adrienne was born in Oxford moving later to the South Coast. She trained as a teacher at Chichester and taught for many years in schools in Henley and Reading. Having always had a great love of horses and riding she qualified as a Riding for the Disabled instructor and had been chairman of the Wyfold Group since 2002. She moved with her husband Ian from Henley to Peppard in 2003 and soon settled happily at All Saints'. Adrienne and Ian have three adult children.
